About the Author
Helen Sevic was born in Shandong, China, and earned a PhD in engineering from Tsinghua University. She spent over 20 years working at IBM and other global high-tech companies. After immigrating to the U.S., her deep curiosity about humanity and nature led her to become an avid follower of Carl Jung’s psychology and philosophy. Drawing from Jung’s psychological types and her understanding of the MBTI 16 personality types, Helen developed a simple, practical interactive testing method that enhances the usability and accuracy of MBTI personality analysis. Her book, Illustrated MBTI 16 Personality Types, was well received in China. She also self-published the English version, The Key to Relationship Success, on Amazon, empowering readers to master personality analysis and improve self-awareness and relationships without relying on professional consultants. Inspired by Jung’s concept of the collective unconscious, Helen extended her exploration of human nature into the unconscious realm. Over two decades, her keen observations and vivid imagination led her to build on Jung’s philosophical ideas, using everyday coincidences to reveal the objective existence of the collective unconscious. She published her signature work, Dog & God: Collective Unconscious Coincidences, on major U.S. platforms to awaken awareness of the unconscious and bridge the gap between science and myth, knowledge and imagination, in the search for answers to humanity’s deepest questions. As a typical INFP "Idealist," Helen has found meaning and purpose in her retirement through exploring the mysteries of humanity and the spirit.
